My first empty since transitioning to organic beauty products. This has been a nice shampoo for the past 3 or so odd months – fresh, gets the job done, and I can survive washing every other day (occasionally every two but with lots of dry shampoo) even in the summer. My hair does have a healthy shine with this, and I can get away without using conditioner in the summer, but it gets dry even with conditioner in the fall/winter now.
I am looking suspiciously at the “Sodium Lauryl Glucosides Hydroxypropyl Sulfonate” and “Sodium Cocoyl Methyl Taurate” which are 2nd and 3rd on the ingredients list. Cosmetics and Toiletries and Truth in Aging say both are surfactants which I think I could do without, but I can live with it. The price of $9.95 doesn’t hurt too much either.
This is one of the shampoos I rotate (along with Avalon Organics and Shiseido). I live in a tropical climate so I have a different experience.
